Mark O’Donnell and Cynthia Zarin

Mark O’Donnell is the author of the novels Getting Over Homer and Let Nothing You Dismay. His plays include Summer Work, That’s It, Folks!, Strangers on Earth, Scapin, Fables for Friends, The Nice and the Nasty, Cry-Baby, and Hairspray (for which he received a Tony Award).

Cynthia Zarin is the author of The Swordfish Tooth, Fire Lyric, The Watercourse (winner of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize), and a new collection, The Ada Poems. She has also written several children’s books. A longtime contributor to The New Yorker, she teaches at Yale.
