Creation

The Shed brings together known and rising artists to produce new work in genres spanning from pop to classical music, painting to digital media, theater to literature, and sculpture to dance in their highly flexible facility on Manhattan's west side. They look for possibilities to cooperate with like-minded companies, interact with cultural peers, and provide unique settings for private events.

The Shed was created to break down barriers between creative disciplines and spectators. They provide a warm, welcoming environment for creativity and conversation by lowering social and economic obstacles to admission. They collaborate with creative minds and collaborators to create revolutionary digital experiences on-site and online, embracing technology.

Reviews

"The design, like the name, plays off the fashionable idea that culture should be both grand and provisional, spectacular and temporary, awe-inspiring and evanescent, like a giant dance party or an epic flash mob."

"This place is an incredible art center with ever-changing exhibitions and events! An unbelievable and memorizing experience that everyone should see! The combination of art, design, light, and technology is breathtaking."

"The Shed is a beautiful event space in the heart of Manhattan. Hudson yards is still emerging as a true luxury and recreational attraction as a entrance to the high line elevated park as well. A great place to check out if visiting NYC."
